Artistry Cafe

Artistry, an art gallery and café situated in Kampong Glam is one of the more unique café in the local café scene. I really love the exteriors of the café, contrasting greyish and white walls with recycled timber tables, while basking in the sun, enjoying the morning breeze and people watching. The interior boasts a gallery of art pieces and gives a cosier ambience.
Black and white?
As of now, I have been to Artistry for brunch 6 times! A record already lah, considering that 20 new cafés sprout out per month leh! I simply cant get enough of their brunch items, and especially the PB and J French Toast.

PB & J French Toast (MUST TRY)
Fat fluffy brioche pan fried till golden brown stuffed with peanut butter and raspberry jam. The brioche was crispy around the edges and soft within. The salty nutty texture of peanut butter and tartness of the jam was an awesome mix. Scoop of smooth vanilla ice cream atop the warm brioche, with the drizzle of maples syrup scream perfection totally! I could have this again and again, take my MONEY please.

CrabCake Burger ($20)
Squid ink Buns with Truffle fries or plain fries. Another item which I really liked here. The crabmeat was shredded and the crabcake patty has a moist core while retaining its crisp on the outside. Also worth a mention is their truffle fries, I just couldn’t stop munching on them!

Salted Caramel & Bacon Waffles ($15)
Waffles were light and crispy. Another good play on the sweet-salty (salted caramel) from Artistry. The smoked apple bacon on the side complement the waffles pretty well!

Duck Confit Croissant ($15)
Croissant was flaky and buttery and generous serving of pulled duck confit sandwiched. I have seen pulled pork but pulled ducked is a new to me. The silky smooth and creamy melt-in-the-mouth scrambled eggs perfects the dish!

Big Breakfast ($20)
Your usual big breakfast with eggs, sourdough, mushroom, wild rocket and tomatoes, this did not really wowed me as this is pretty the same as compared to the big breakfast served from other cafes. And the sourdough was a tad hard that we left it unfinished.

Was back on CNY day 3 to try out their CNY special brunch menu, and it doesn’t disappoint as well.

Buttermilk Vanilla Panna Cotta ($14)
Served with mandarin orange yoghurt, Artistry sure has injected a CNY touch to their menu. Not only does it looks pretty, the panna cotta tasted light and refreshing. Too bad its only a CNY special and not meant to stay.

Chilli CrabCake Burger ($25)
Artistry Signature crabcake burger served with chilli crab sauce. The sundried tomato buns was fried to a golden brown like mantou that I could not resist dipping it into the spicy tangy sauce sauce, crabilicious!

Artistry is definitely one of my favourite café in Singapore. They serve fantastic food and the menu changes seasonally to festive occasion like CNY/Christmas. They have since changed their opening hours to 9am and a have a dinner menu (sliders and waffles) from 5 to 930pm. I have heard pretty good reviews for their house-baked cakes like red velvet, sea salt chocolate. It is definitely a hot spot for be it breakfast, brunch, lunch, tea or dinner and could be seen crowded with locals and tourists on weekend!

Note: Kitchen operates from 10am to 430 pm, No GST or Service Charge but do come
EARLY as their hot favourites tend to get sold out fast!

I am not sure about you but I will definitely be back!! And, you might just spot me at Artistry lol!

Do say hi ya! =)
